The book is based on lessons given at the first edition of the Domoschool, International Alpine School of Mathematics and Physics, Domodossola (Italy), July 2018. It is divided in two parts. Part I consists in four lecture notes, an extended version of the lectures given by four maximal worldwide experts on the topics at the school. These topics regard very recent developments in mathematics and physics related to General Relativity. Part II is a proceeding collection of the talks given by nine of the participants and regard selected research arguments, again related to General Relativity, but not necessarily with the lectures of part I.
