Aircraft of the Israeli Air Force 2. The 1978 Camp David peace agreement between Israel and Egypt led the way for the USA to supply 75 F-16 fighter jets to Israel. The Fighting Falcon was renamed Netz (Hebrew for hawk) for service in the Israeli Air Force, where they have been in the front line defending the country against threats from neighbouring Arab countries. This is the complete photographic history of the F-16 Netz jet fighter, and its defence work on Israel's borders, in the Gulf War, and on reconnaissance missions. The artwork shows the camouflage and markings of different squadrons and photographs show the planes in action and on the ground.
