The aim of this book is to present a manual of self-defence, kime waza, for the practised judoka and the tyro alike. Hitherto, few self-defence books have presented this subject as an integral part of judo. This book is based on the kime-no-kata of the kodo-kan and the specialized kime waza of the marunouchi police dojo in Tokio.
