The present book is based on a series of lectures given by the author before an audience of physicists at the Theoretical Study Division at CERN during the winter of 1967-1968. In this course we inlended to outline the concepts and methods used in the theory of representations of the inhomogeneous Lorentz group and its subgroups as they are applied in present-day elementary particle physics.
