Gewährleisteter Christliche Glaube is the German translation of Alvin Plantinga’s seminal work, Warranted Christian Belief. Plantinga was among the most influential religious philosophers of the 20th century. His notion of “warrant” (more or less: “Gewährleistung”) is difficult to translate, referring to the quality that distinguishes a true belief from knowledge. Plantinga’s core thesis is that religious beliefs can be warranted.
